This dramatic shot was taken on the south
side of the Lake, near Emerald Bay. It was shot directly into
the sun (don’t try this at home). It was exposed such that
the disk of the sun would overexpose; throw the cliffs and trees
into deep shadow, and still provide sufficient detail in the
clouds of an approaching storm. The shot is almost black and
white, with subtle color in the sky adding interest. |
