This graceful brick bridge is one of the delights of taking a leisurely paddleboat ride on Stow Lake, in Golden Gate Park. The color and texture of the brick contrast sharply with the water of the lake. (I did not inquire too closely about what actually caused the lake to be that color.) The bridge provides foot access to the island in the center of the lake, where Huntington Falls is located. The entire setting is very idyllic and a restful way to spend an afternoon.
