This late afternoon wide- angle view of San
Francisco's famous Golden
Gate Bridge was taken from the vista point
on the Marin County side. I really liked the contrast between
the flowers in the foreground, the water in the Bay, the green
hills of the Marin Headlands, and the sweep of the bridge itself.
With its Art Deco styling, striking International Orange color,
and impressive 4200 foot length [1280 m], it is one of the most
beautiful bridges in the world. The rocks on the right are part
of the wall at the vista point. |
