Aside from the Golden Gate Bridge, the
Transamerica Pyramid is San Francisco's
most recognizable structure. Located in the
Financial District, and rising 853 feet [260m],
the 48 story Pyramid is San Francisco's tallest
building. This dramatic night shot required a
long exposure of about 15 seconds. The spire
atop the Pyramid is lit at night, and all of the
office lights add a nice glow to this scene, and
help add depth to the forms of the buildings. |
