Golden
Gate Park, San Francisco, California |
|
|
This brilliantly colored Pagoda is found in
the
Japanese Tea Garden section of Golden Gate
Park, in San Francisco, California. It was
originally part of the Japanese exhibit at the
Panama-Pacific Exposition of 1915, and was
brought to the Park after the exhibition closed. The image is
just an explosion of color, with the vivid reds and yellows of
the building
contrasting with the greens of the surrounding
foliage. The composition is nicely balanced by
the small waterfall in the foreground. |
