These beautiful members of the Lily family are also known as Golden Fairy Lanterns, a tribute to their unusual shape. Also unusual, is the fringing on the edge of the petals. They are found on dry slopes in brush and open woods, and bloom from April to June. The sweep of the composition gives a floating appearance to this colorful trio.
