This is a very typical look for a redwood
forest floor, with a profusion of ferns randomly sprouting about
the base of the redwood tree. Filtered sunlight barely passes
through the dense canopy of leaves overhead, showing occasional
patches of light on the ground. I loved the contrast between
the delicate shapes of the ferns and the rougher look of the
moss on the tree trunk, as well as the subtle changes in color. |
