This sweet, reflective pose belies the fierce
nature of this powerful big cat native to Africa and Asia. Its
distinctive spots distinguish it from its close relatives of
lion and tiger. The leopard is an excellent climber and swimmer,
and generally hunts at night. The leopard can strike faster than
any other cat. It may reach over seven feet [2m] in length, and
