These rugged knife-edged hills of the Na Pali Coast
on Kauai's north shore are framed by clouds and fog. The north
shore is completely inaccessible, except on foot, or by boat,
here. There is nice contrast in this scene between the shapes
of the soft clouds and the sharp ridges of rock. A shutter speed
of 1/125 of a second helps to minimize the motion of the boat,
and a polarizing filter enhances the colors of the hills and
sky. |
