The lush Na
Pali Coast on Kauai's north shore is accesible
only by difficult hike, or as here, by boat. The fog comes down
from Mt. Waialeale at the center of Kauai, reaches down this
valley, and just hangs over the hills. We had some wonderful
views of the north coast from the boat. Use of a wide angle lens
with a small aperture keeps things as sharp as possible, and
a polarizing filter adds saturation to the colors on shore. |
