Snow Creek,
on the left, flows into Tenaya
Creek here, and Tenaya then goes on to
empty into Mirror Lake, in Yosemite National Park. This peaceful
scene is a moderate hike past the lake. The pale yellow winter
light before sunset barely illuminates the sky. A very slow shutter
speed allows the light to build up in the cascades of the creek.
The warm grays of the rocks contrast nicely with the flow of
the creeks, the browns and greens of the forest, and the snow
in the foreground. |
