This winter composition shows Bridalveil Falls
with the formation called Leaning Tower on the right. Bridalveil
sways with the wind; the dark areas to either side of the falls
show just how much. Since Yosemite Valley is such a narrow canyon,
light is already disappearing, even though it is not that late
in the afternoon. The snow on the rocks provides a nice contrast
to the rock colors. From this vantage point, it was not possible
to keep from getting soaked from the spray! |
