Taken just after the sun dipped below the
hill, the not-quite setting sun illuminates the cloud from underneath.
The fiery sky colors contrast with the dark silhouettes of the
redwoods on the hill. The scale of these colors was just immense,
because the redwoods on the ridge are each over 100 feet [30m]
tall; ten minutes later, those colors were gone! |
