scene are balanced by the dark silhouettes of the fishing boat,
seagull, and the shadows on the waves. I was waiting for the
boat to arrive at this position, and the seagull just conveniently
decided to show up. A long telephoto lens yields a large sun
for a very graphic effect, balancing the shapes of the boat and
bird. The composition divides the sky and sea in half. |
