The shape and lighting on this Begonia strongly
suggested an angel to me, and the picture was composed to maximize
that effect. The intense backlighting reveals the flower's texture,
and emphasizes the shapes in the scene more than the colors.
Use of a large aperture breaks up the background into out of
focus pastels, drawing attention back to the flower. |
