I really liked the contrast in both texture
and color in this scene - the smooth light grays of the birches
against the rough dark browns of the redwoods, and the way that
the bright- colored leaves tied both of them together. The sunlight
filtering through in the upper right adds considerable interest.
Use of a small aperture keeps the entire scene in focus.
