This peaceful creek can be found in the spring in Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve, in Guerneville, California. Use of a slow shutter speed allows light to build up on the film in the highlight and pool areas of the creek, and adds a wonderful glow to that portion of the scene There is nice contrast between the darker forest tones and the light in the stream.
